Heather La Freniere joined Foothill 2003 and is responsible for new business origination in the Chicago office. She works with intermediaries, consultants and private equity groups around the Midwest to negotiate and structure new credit facilities for their clients/portfolio companies. Prior to joining Foothill, La Freniere spent 10 years in investment banking, structuring, negotiating and marketing debt securities for private companies at ABN AMRO NV and at a Chicago-based regional boutique firm. She completed the credit training program at Norwest Bank NA and spent five years in various roles in the commercial bank including credit analysis/portfolio management and trade finance. La Freniere has a BS in International Business and Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MBA in Finance from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. She speaks fluent Spanish and is a member of the TMA and the ACG. |
