Heather Gartman - Managing Director & Health Care Lead Heather Gartman joined Zeno in September 2004 and brings more than 17 years experience in public relations and brand communications, issues management and social marketing for health care, consumer, and government and non-profit clients. Heather has developed and executed public relations campaigns, brand marketing strategies and corporate positioning programs for national and global companies. She currently serves as Deputy Managing Director in Zeno s health and corporate and issues management practices. Clients represented at Zeno include AstraZeneca Oncology, Otsuka America Pharmaceutical Inc., American Liver Foundation, American Association for the Study of Liver Disease, Gap Inc., and TD Ameritrade. Formerly a Senior Vice President at Euro RSCG Magnet Communications, Heather was responsible for the management and strategic direction of several large consumer, social marketing and public affairs accounts. Prior to Magnet, Heather was the director of client service at Earle Palmer Brown, an integrated marketing communications firm. Heather has conducted government relations, ally development and grassroots work on behalf of a broad base of clients on issues ranging from helping UPS gain a direct air route into China to citing low-level nuclear waste sites and passing favorable pharmaceutical legislation in a state legislature. In addition, Heather is a trained focus group moderator, who has completed several projects trying to understand what motivates consumers to change their behavior including work for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration on OTC drug labeling. Ms. Gartman earned her B.A in political science from University of Western Ontario and a M.A. in international affairs and marketing from American University. |
