Current responsibility
Hazel is a Compliance Consultant with the Lake Forest office of Milliman, Inc. She joined the firm in 2005.
Hazel plays a key role in Milliman's compliance consulting practice, which focuses on product forms drafting (e.g., policy, rider, certificate, application, etc.) for all types of products, filing them electronically (or using paper), and directing filings to ultimate approval. She provides services to clients regarding product development, product form drafting and filing, regulatory compliance issues, and product form audits.
Experience
Hazel specializes in compliance and filing of individual and group life, annuity, and health products, including long-term care (standalone and combination life-LTC and annuity-LTC products). Her experience also includes product advertising filings, single-case filings, policy issuance, agent licensing, group administration, and market conduct issues. She has excellent communications with state insurance regulators.
She has over 20 years of compliance and state filing experience with various insurance companies, including AAA Life Insurance Company, CNA Life Insurance Company, MEGA Life and Health Insurance Company, and Union Labor Life Insurance Company. In her career, she has held positions as compliance manager and senior compliance analyst.
