Hartmut Weigelt, Ph.D. has served as a Director of the Company since December 2000. Dr. Weigelt was a member of the Supervisory Board of Proteo Biotech AG from 2000 to 2003. Since 1996, Dr. Weigelt has served as the managing director of Eco Impact GmbH which he co-founded. Dr. Weigelt was a co-founder of the first German private university, Witten/Herdecke and he is currently a Director of the Life Technologies Ruhr e.v. Mr. Weigelt studied chemistry and biology and graduated with a M.Sc., Ph.D., and D.Sc. in biology.
