As Executive Vice-President, Mr. Roberts, the company’s Chief Financial Officer, is accountable for the establishment of Petro-Canada’s financial objectives and the implementation of effective business processes, financial and risk management, accounting and internal control, corporate taxes, strategic planning, corporate finance and treasury, and information technology. As a member of the corporation’s Executive Leadership Team, Mr. Roberts contributes to the strategic management of Petro-Canada. Mr. Roberts joined Petro-Canada in 1989, following 15 years in the financial and oil and gas industries. Mr. Roberts graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Commerce degree. He is a member of the Audit Committee of the Board of Governors for the University of Calgary in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. |
