Siglar has worked in the not-for-profit and for-profit healthcare sectors, most recently as Chief Executive Officer for Community Health Systems at Moberly Regional Medical Center, Moberly, Missouri. Siglar’s accomplishments include receiving the Chairman’s Eagle Award from Universal Health Services and his hospitals receiving Solucient TOP 100 hospital award for four consecutive years.
Siglar’s other assignments include CEO at Triad’s Abilene Regional Medical Center in Abilene, Texas and Universal Health Services, Inc. where he was CEO/Managing Director for McAllen Medical Center, McAllen Medical Behavioral Health Center, UHS Rehabilitation Pavilion and McAllen Medical Heart Hospital in McAllen, Texas.
Siglar received a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Saint Mary of the Plains College, a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Missouri Kansas City and a Master of Arts degree in Marketing from Webster University.
Past professional and civic involvement includes serving for Texas Hospital Association, Missouri Hospital Association, Executive Board of the Abilene Chamber of Commerce and as an adjunct professor for South Texas Community College and University of Texas, Pan American. Siglar was named an Outstanding Young American in 1986 and Outstanding Graduate by the American Marketing Association in 1985. |
