Harold D. Carter age 69 has served as a Director on our Board and as a consultant to us since 1992. Mr. Carter has more than 45 years experience in the oil and gas industry and has been an independent consultant since 1990. Prior to consulting Mr. Carter served as Executive Vice President of Pacific Enterprises Oil Company (USA). Before that Mr. Carter was associated for 20 years with Sabine Corporation ultimately serving as President and Chief Operating Officer from 1986 to 1989. Mr. Carter consults for Associated Energy Managers Inc. and is a director of Energy Partners Ltd. with respect to its Energy Income Fund L.P. and a director of Abraxas Petroleum Corporation both publicly traded oil and gas companies and Longview Production Company a private company. Additionally he serves as Vice Chairman on the Board of Trustees for the Texas Scottish Right Hospital for Children. Mr. Carter has a B.B.A. in Petroleum Land Management from the University of Texas and has completed the Program for Management Development at the Harvard University Business School. |
