Harold A. Olsen practices in the areas of bankruptcy and corporate restructuring. He has represented lenders, bondholders, counterparties and other creditors in numerous bankruptcy cases, including Enron, WorldCom, Calpine, National Energy & Gas Transmission, Inc., Asarco, US Airways, TWA, SemCrude L.P. and Lehman Brothers, as well as official and unofficial creditors’ committees. His debtor representations have included Delta Air Lines, Inc. and Planet Hollywood International, Inc. In addition, Mr. Olsen regularly advises clients in commodity hedging, structured finance and real estate transactions.
Before joining Stroock, Mr. Olsen served as law clerk to the Honorable Stuart M. Bernstein, United States Bankruptcy Judge (and now Chief Judge) of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
