Mr. Paumgarten has an extensive background in investment banking and corporate finance. He has had a lengthy investment banking career with several leading Wall Street firms including Morgan Stanley & Co., Union Bank of Switzerland (UBS) and Deutsche Bank. At Deutsche Bank, Mr. Paumgarten directed investment banking activities and merchant banking. Mr. Paumgarten was also a supervisory analyst while at Deutsche Bank. In addition to serving on several industrial boards of directors, he was the Chairman of the HSBC Mutual Fund Trusts a $1.2 billion fund family managed by the Hong Kong Shanghai Bank, before it was sold to The Bank of New York. Mr. Paumgarten has worked with a variety of public companies with a particular focus on cross-border M&A assignments. Mr. Paumgarten has been an adjunct professor at Columbia Business School. |
