Hans J. Sack is president specialty steel at The Timken Company.
Mr. Sack began his career with the company in 1990 as a senior steel business specialist in the Steel Group. He served subsequent positions in the Steel Group as manager small bar mill, project manager parts strategy, general manager parts business steel and vice president manufacturing steel.
Mr. Sack was elected president of Timken Latrobe Steel in 1996 and, in 1998, was elected an officer of The Timken Company. He was named to his current position in 2000.
Before joining The Timken Company, Mr. Sack was general manager of the Coolant Systems Division of Mannesmann-Demag-Sack GmbH in Düsseldorf, West Germany.
Mr. Sack received a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from RWTH Aachen, West Germany, and a master’s degree in business administration from the Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration.
Mr. Sack is a member of the Board of Directors of Specialty Steel Industry of North America and a member of the Advisory Council of the Alex P. McKenna School of Business at Saint Vincent College. |
