As a serial entrepreneur, Hank Nothhaft has been a pathfinder in the telecommunications and networking industries, growing pioneering startups, such as Concentric Network Corp., DSC Communications and GTE Telenet Communications (now Sprint), into mature industry leaders. As Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Danger, Inc. since October 2002, Hank has directed the company from its initial product launch to its present position as a market leader in the mobile internet market. Prior to joining us, Hank served as the Chief Executive Officer of Endforce, Inc., an internet protocol services software company, from May 2001 to October 2002, and continued to serve as the non-executive Chairman of the board of directors of Endforce from October 2002 to March 2005. From July 2000 to April 2001, Hank served as Vice Chairman of the board of directors of XO Communications, Inc., a telecommunications services provider. From May 1995 to June 2000, Hank served as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Concentric Network Corporation, a national Internet service provider that merged with Nexlink Communications in June 2000 and subsequently became XO Communications. Hank currently serves on the board of directors of Tessera, Inc., a developer of semiconductor packaging technology. Hank holds an M.B.A. from George Washington University and a B.S. with distinction from the United States Naval Academy, and he is a former officer in the United States Marine Corps. |
