Hank Hickox joined KemperSports as General Manager of Bandon Dunes in September of 2000. As part of our team he has been integral helping the resort earn recognition throughout the golf industry. Mr. Hickox has helped our owner Mike Keiser expand from the original Bandon Dunes 18 holes and 69 overnight rooms in 1999, to adding Pacific Dunes in 2001 and in June 2005, the addition of the Coore/Crenshaw designed Bandon Trails, seeing the destination expand 54 holes, 225 rooms, 450 staffers and over 300 caddies. Mr. Hickox has also been instrumental in "grooming" a number of department heads and general managers for other KemperSports sites around the country. Mr. Hickox's career spans more than 30 years of resort experience, having been Chief Executive Officer of Salishan Resort and General Manager at both Silverado Country Club & Resort and Kiawah Island among others. He is a native Oregonian, educated at the University of Oregon and International Hotel School. |
