Hamid Biglari is currently the Chief Operating Officer of Citi Institutional Clients Group (ICG). In that capacity, he has responsibility for strategy, resource allocation, financial planning, and general business management of Citi's global securities business, reporting to John Havens, CEO of ICG. One of the major investment banks in the world, ICG has operations in over 100 countries. He is a member of Citi's Senior Leadership Committee.
Prior to this role, Hamid was Global Head of Investment Banking for Financial Institutions. In this role, he advised chief executives of the world's leading financial institutions in North America, Europe, and Asia on their strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and capital-raising needs. |
