Halley Suitt serves as Chief Marketing Officer at R3Logic. She was CEO of Top Ten Sources, a VC-funded start-up based in Harvard Square, from 2005 to 2006. Top Ten purchased the shopping social network start-up, Stylefeeder in May 2006. Top Ten Sources was later purchased by MeeVee TV in 2007. Halley is a pioneer in the blogging world, having written her weblog Halley's Comment, since 2002. In 2007, Halley founded Zindicate, a videoblogging start-up. She's an active participant on Twitter and Seesmic, the video IM social network. Halley has been quoted in many publications, speaks at conferences in the US and abroad and has appeared on Oprah. She wrote the first Harvard Business Review case study on blogging in September 2004, called "A Blogger in Their Midst" exploring the assets and liabilities of having a blogger in your company. She was selected to be a Microsoft Search Champ Team member, advising Microsoft on their search engine strategy in 2006-2007. Her podcasting internet radio show on ITConversations, called Memory Lane, includes interviews with Bob Metcalfe, Dan Bricklin, David Weinberger and Joi Ito. Halley has worked in sales and marketing, and technology conference planning, at Harvard Business School Publishing, TTI Vanguard and Tom Peters Company. Her personal consulting clients have included Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, Deloitte, and Monitor Consulting. She started her career in search technology with Lexis/Nexis, Reuters and Dow Jones. Halley graduated from Mount Holyoke College with a major in English and French, has an MFA from Columbia University. |
