Hal Hess was named Executive Vice President, International Operations, in February 2007. Prior to this role, he was Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary since September of 2002. He joined American Tower in March 2001 as Chief Financial Officer of American Tower International, and was appointed Executive Vice President of American Tower Corporation in June 2001. Prior to American Tower, Hess was a partner in the corporate and finance group of the law firm King & Spalding, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters for telecommunications and infrastructure companies. Prior to attending law school, Hess practiced as a Certified Public Accountant with Arthur Young & Co. He received his J.D. from Vanderbilt University and is a graduate of Harding University. |
