Gus Jimenez joined FluidIQs (formerly Control Manufacturing Company) in 1985 as a Drafter /Designer. During the course of his tenure Gus interfaced with all aspects of design, engineering, manufacturing, and sales. He developed a work ethic which enabled him to recognize a need for improving work flow efficiencies within all departments at FluidIQs. Gus introduced the use of CAD to FluidIQs and developed a series of standard libraries to quickly improve the efficiency of CAD by 60%. FluidIQs went from three manual drafters to one CAD/Designer for a period of one year. This improvement enabled the start of FluidIQs to increase its growth and productivity. Gus's advancement and experience enabled him to advance within FluidIQs and take on several titles starting as CAD/Designer, CAD Manager, Documentation Control Manager, Operations & Production Manager, and Project Manager to his current position of Director of Hardware Engineering.
Gus brings with him 20 years of knowledge, leadership and vision in the management, design, material control and integration of control systems related to process automation. His experience includes Project Management, Hardware Electrical Engineering, Panel Packaging Design and Instrumentation Specification. Gus also interfaces with sales during the bid course to insure sales uses the most current competitive pricing for material and labor based on the improved processes FluidIQs develops. Gus continues to enhance the value of Automation to his customers in the Water and Wastewater but also within FluidIQS. His continued vision and ability to recognize inefficiencies within departments and procedures enables FluidIQs to improve and increase in productivity.
