Grier C. Raclin joined Charter in October 2005 as Executive Vice President General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. Mr. Raclin has responsibility for all legal government affairs compliance facilities and communications functions of Charter’s business and performs the duties of the Corporate Secretary.
With over 27 years’ experience in the legal profession and communications industry Mr. Raclin previously served as Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary for SAVVIS Inc. a leading provider of IT outsourcing services based in St. Louis where he was responsible for all legal and regulatory affairs facilities management and procurement. Prior to that Mr. Raclin served as Executive Vice President Chief Administrative Officer General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Global TeleSystems Inc. a London-based provider of voice and data communications services in Europe the CIS and Asia. Mr. Raclin was also Vice Chairman and Managing Partner of Gardner Carton & Douglas a large corporate law-firm in Washington D.C. and Chicago Illinois.
Mr. Raclin received a B.A. degree with honors in Philosophy from Northwestern University and a J.D. degree from Northwestern University School of Law and attended the University of Chicago School of Business Executive Program. |
