Dr. Kushnir is a resourceful and highly accomplished IT Executive with over 30 years of diversified management, software product development and R&D experience within corporate and start-up technology-related environments. He is an innovator in both geological interpretation systems and geo-business information systems and has published multiple articles in his field. Prior to joining CARTASITE, Gregory held Executive Team positions with A2D Technologies and Tobin International, the leading data, software and services providers for Exploration and Production Sector of the Oil & Gas Industry. He served as President, Director and Co-founder of Shared Earth Technologies Inc., a 3D mapping software solutions company. Dr. Kushnir was Manager of Advanced Technology and Architecture Group at GeoGraphix and pioneered the development of the sophisticated subsurface modeling technologies. Dr. Kushnir initiated his professional career in 1976 as a geoscientist with All-Russia Scientific Research Geological Oil Institute (VNIGNI) in Moscow, Russia the leading scientific research institute for the Ministry of Natural Resources and Academy of Science of the Russian Federation. He was Senior Research Associate when he left VNIGNI after twelve years of service. Dr. Kushnir graduated Moscow University with a Masters of Science in Geophysics and attained his Ph.D. from VNIGNI for his research in the computer-based geometrization of the oil and gas fields. |
