Greg Downs is Managing Director for First Industrial Realty Trust's Gulf/West Region and oversees portfolio acquisitions and developments and customized solutions for the real estate needs of its corporate customers. Mr. Downs has responsibility for the following Regions: Dallas Phoenix Houston Salt Lake City Los Angeles Irvine San Diego and Denver. Previously Mr. Downs was the Senior Regional Director for First Industrial in Denver. Mr. Downs has over 29 years of experience in all phases of commercial real estate. Prior to joining First Industrial in 1997 Mr. Downs was a principal and vice president of development with Pacifica Holding Company owner and operator of over seven million square feet of commercial property in the Denver metro area. Prior to that he was the Director of Asset Management for Bren Investment Properties in Los Angeles with responsibility for their commercial properties in Southern California. Mr. Downs began his career with the Denver office of CBRE and over the years has represented private investors and institutional owners such as Copley Realty Advisors Travelers Aetna TCW Realty Advisors and The Yarmouth Group. Downs is a member of the Denver chapter of NAIOP and previously was a member of its board of directors and is an affiliate member of SIOR. Downs graduated from the University of Denver College of Arts and Sciences in 1970 and attended the University of Colorado Graduate School of Public Administration in 1972 and 1973. |
