Mr. Smith is an associate in Brown Rudnick’s Real Estate Department.
During his legal studies, Mr. Smith was a judicial extern for The Honorable Fred Inderlied at the Ohio Judicial Conference, where he assisted a panel of judges in reviewing and modifying the Ohio Jury Instructions to reflect statutory changes. He also served as law clerk at the Center for Democracy and Technology in Washington, D.C. Additionally, Mr. Smith was the designer and online editor of I/S: A Journal of Law and Policy for the Information Society, an interactive online journal focused on the connection between law, policy, and information technology.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Smith was employed as a technology consultant at American Management Systems, Inc. in Fairfax, Virginia, where he specialized in software development and implementation.
