Gregory R. Hansell is the Managing Editor of the Global Spiral. Hansell received the M.A. in Theology from Union Theological Seminary, specializing in the Philosophy of Religion, and the B.A. in Religion from Swarthmore College, with an interdisciplinary concentration in Interpretation Theory. Hansell juxtaposes academic training in philosophical theology and philosophy of religion with technical training and extensive career experience in computer networking, programming, and hardware. Hansell has worked for Prudential Financial, RMH Teleservices, and Marastar Communications.Hansell is interested in work at the intersection of the continental philosophy of religion, American pragmatism, self psychology, and personhood, including secular theology, neuroscience and neurotheology, and new readings of theological anthropology. |
