Mr. Friz is director of business development serving the Western Region for CBIZ Valuation Group. He has over 20 years experience in the valuation industry, 6 years as a field appraiser and 14 years in business development. He is fully versed in the valuation of machinery and equipment, buildings, land improvements, infrastructure and land parcels and has provided insurance valuation services on a broad variety of properties to assist clients with their insurance reporting needs. Mr. Friz has provided valuation consulting services to both the public and private sector and has served the hotel and gaming, manufacturing and high technology industries as well as airport authorities, water and sewer utilities, colleges and universities, school districts, cities, counties, states, governmental risk pools and insurance brokers. His unique combination as an experienced valuation consultant and 14 years in business development, provides him the knowledge to fully understand his clients' needs. Prior to joining CBIZ Valuation Group, Mr. Friz was a district manager with American Appraisal Associates, managing business development for a large western territory. Prior to that he served as vice president of MAXIMUS' Asset Management Division where he oversaw business development for the Western United States. Mr. Friz has a bachelor of science in political science from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and is a frequent speaker at various local and regional conferences on property appraisal services for both insurance and financial reporting requirements. Mr. Friz belongs to many professional associations and is an associate member of the University Risk Management and Insurance Association (URMIA), the Risk and Insurance Management Society, Inc. (RIMS) and The Association of Governmental Risk Pools (AGRIP). |
