Greg Pensabene joined Anadarko Petroleum Corporation as Vice President Government Relations in 1997. Based in Washington D.C. Mr. Pensabene represented Anadarko as a consultant prior to joining the company and has a broad range of experience in public policy matters related to natural resources development.
After graduation from law school Mr. Pensabene began the practice of law in 1975 as an associate attorney in a Tulsa Oklahoma law firm. In 1978 he joined the Washington D.C. office of Santa Fe Industries where he represented the company’s natural resource and land development affiliates. In 1984 he was named the company’s Assistant Vice President Washington D.C.
In 1988 Mr. Pensabene re-entered the private practice of law as a partner in Will & Muys in Washington D.C. In 1995 he moved to the Washington D.C. office of the Seattle-based law firm Bogle and Gates and was a partner in that firm. Immediately prior to joining Anadarko he was a partner in the firm of Muys & Pensabene.
He completed the Institute of Business Economics and Management at the University of Southern California School of Business and received his J.D. from the University of Tulsa College of Law. Mr. Pensabene also holds a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Notre Dame. He is a member of the District of Columbia Bar Association and has held positions of leadership in the Natural Resources Section of the American Bar Association. |
