Gregory Burke is a senior attorney in the firm's Intellectual Property Practice Group. Prior to joining the firm he was an associate with the intellectual property firm of Seidel, Gonda, Lavorgna & Monaco, P.C. His practice is concentrated on patent prosecution and litigation. He also brings extensive trademark prosecution experience and practical engineering experience to his practice.
Intellectual Property. Gregory has several years of practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office including representation before the Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences and ex parte and inter partes representation before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. He has counseled clients and prosecuted patents in a wide range of art areas including magnetic levitation systems, medical devices, printing machinery, automotive, heat exchangers, purification systems, exercise equipment, tooling, toys and amusements. His trademark experience includes registration of trademarks in a variety of formats including color and product configuration marks.
In General. Gregory has worked for Westinghouse Electric Corporation as a structural engineer and also has several years of aerospace engineering experience with the Advanced Programs Group of Rockwell International's Rocketdyne Division (now Boeing's) where his structural authority on rocket propulsion and laser projects required knowledge in various technical disciplines. During law school, he passed the Patent Bar and worked as a Patent Agent with an intellectual property firm. |
