Greg served on the Tulane Law Review first as a member, 1977-1978, then as Articles Editor, 1978-1979. He won a Rotary Foundation Graduate Fellowship for International Understanding to Cambridge University, where he obtained an LL.B. in 1981. After attending Cambridge, Greg was a law clerk for the Honorable Edward J. Boyle, Sr., of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. Greg has an active practice in areas relating to commercial real estate, construction contract disputes and general commercial lease matters. He has also litigated oil and gas royalty suits and environmental cleanup cases. Greg represents several clients, including financial institutions, on recurring risk management and casualty matters, such as general coverage questions, ERISA benefits litigation, and workers' compensation cases. Greg has considerable experience in complex products liability litigation, having represented manufacturers of products as diverse as cigarettes and software. He has also litigated several high profile First Amendment cases. Greg is the Past President of the New Orleans Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, having served on the Chapter's Board of Directors since 1998. He has chaired the FBA's National Membership Committee since 2001. Greg was a founding board member of Second Harvesters Food Bank of Greater New Orleans, serving from 1985-1989 and from 1992-1997. He currently sits on the Advisory Board of Christopher Homes, Inc., a housing program for low-income senior citizens conducted by the Archdiocese of New Orleans, and volunteers as a Team Captain for the Archbishop's Community Appeal. |
