Mr. Farano joined the Firm in 2002 as an associate in the Litigation Department. His practice focuses on contracts and business torts, securities litigation and other business litigation. Before joining the Firm, Mr. Farano served as a law clerk for the Honorable William M. Hoeveler in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. From 1997 to 1999 Mr. Farano was associated with Debevoise & Plimpton in Washington, D.C. where he focused on securities litigation and white collar criminal defense. In 1999, Mr. Farano was a founding member of Keen, Inc., a start-up company in San Francisco where he served in both legal and business capacities.

EDUCATION
Mr. Farano received his B.A. in History, magna cum laude, in 1992 from Yale University, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He received his law degree in 1996 from Yale Law School where he served as the Submissions Editor for the Yale Law & Policy Review and Director of the Greenhaven Prison Project. |
