Background: Gregg is an associate in the Business Ventures Group, practicing in the Las Vegas office. Experience Prior to joining Hale Lane, Gregg practiced in Boise, Idaho, where he focused on structuring sophisticated business transactions, income tax planning for individuals, C corporations, S corporations, partnerships and LLC’s. He also counseled clients on advanced estate planning issues in order to minimize transfer taxes and prepare for wealth transfer. Gregg continues to concentrate on all aspects of business and tax planning, which includes rendering advice during the initial planning stages of choosing the appropriate entity and related structuring issues, operating the organization in a manner to receive preferential tax treatment and meet business objectives, structuring complex business deals involving mergers and acquisitions, counseling clients through reorganizations and related entity restructuring, and structuring sales or other dispositions of business assets and ownership interests. Education and Professional Affiliations Gregg received his B.S. in 2002 from Southern Utah University, a J.D. from Gonzaga University in 2005, and an LL.M. in Taxation from Boston University in 2006. Gregg is admitted to practice in Arizona and Idaho. |
