Greg Ziernicki has 25 years experience in accounting, finance & operations with global manufacturing and distribution businesses ranging from automotive & heavy truck, medical devices & equipment to private business jets. He is skilled at SEC reporting, investment community communications and implementation of MRP systems.
Greg gained significant experience in turnaround, workout and transition management situations where his leadership and technical skills have established credibility with management, shareholders and creditors. He has revamped Purchase to Pay and Order to Cash cycles, wrote and closed on private placement memorandums and closed refinancing packages. Among prior engagements, Greg has worked as Controller & interim CFO of a privately-held aviation business specializing in private jet aircraft management and a privately-held automotive and marine exhaust manufacturer.
Prior to joining Focus Management Group, Greg held numerous senior financial roles with a wide variety of companies. He served as the Chief Financial Officer and International Finance Manager for an automotive and truck components manufacturer. During his tenure, Greg formed four subsidiaries, completed a $1M acquisition, and redeveloped the Company's machining center within 12 months. Greg also created nine global offices, designing all accounting, treasury and tax systems, which ultimately expanded to 25% of the Company's revenues. He has also served as a Business and Finance Coordinator for a $1B leader in medical imaging devices and the Finance and Operations Manager for a $300M leader in nuclear medicine equipment.
Greg earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree with Honors in Economics from Kenyon College and minored in Finance at Cleveland State University. He passed the Certified Public Accounting examination and is expecting to receive CPA certification in January 2006. He is a member of the Ohio Society of CPA's. Greg is also fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
