Greg McLogan possesses over seventeen years of professional search and human resources experience, concentrating on recruitment, staffing and talent selection.
Upon graduating from Hillsdale College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Psychology in 1988, he began his career working in Chicago for six years at a search firm and in the Human Resources department of a public safety firm.
Greg relocated to Kalamazoo in 1994 and took a position as a Staffing Recruiter in the Corporate Human Resources Department at National City Bank, Formerly First of America Bank Corporation (FOA). Upon the time of the buyout of FOA from National City, Greg joined the Stryker Corporation in Kalamazoo where he served for two years as their Senior Human Resources Representative, focusing on talent acquisition. He then joined Laura Van Popering at Premier Recruiting Group, Inc. and in May of 2003, Van Popering, McLogan Executive Search, Inc. was formed.
Greg has been trained in various behavioral based interview techniques as well as the Gallup Company’s "Talent-Based Hiring System". He is a member of the Rotary Club of Kalamazoo has been actively involved with the local Chamber of Commerce, West Michigan Sigma Chi Alumni Association, and the Kalamazoo Human Resources Management Association (KHRMA). Greg also serves on the Task Force Board of the newly formed "Kalamazoo Area Young Professionals Group" (KAYP). In early 2005, he was named as one of West Michigan’s "Top Business Leaders under the age of 40" by Business Review. |
