Since joining PlayPhone at its inception on a consulting basis, Greg Kostigen has helped grow PlayPhone from a start-up to a global media company. After officially signing on to the management team in October 2006, Kostigen currently oversees PlayPhone’s worldwide operations as it relates to finance, accounting, human resources and legal matters.
Kostigen brings more than 20 years of experience to PlayPhone, specializing in taxation, finance and accounting for high-tech companies. Prior to joining PlayPhone, he provided financial and taxation services for private and public companies as well as individuals around the world. He was also a manager with KPMG Peat Marwick, a global network of professional firms that provide audit, tax and advisory services. At KPMG, Kostigen had a wide range of responsibilities including business and individual income tax planning and consulting, client account management and the management of client tax compliance and related services. Kostigen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Economics with a concentration in accounting from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He is also a certified public accountant in the State of California. |
