Director Greg Knight is entering his eighth season with the Nuggets. At 29 years old, Knight is already an integral part of the Nuggets front office, serving as the Team’s capologist.
Knight is responsible for drawing up player contracts, managing the salary cap, and interpreting and applying the provisions of the NBA Collective Bargaining Agreement and various League rules. Knight actively communicates with the NBA legal team on numerous issues and monitors other teams’ salary cap positions and transactions.
Majoring in business, Greg graduated from Kutztown University in Kutztown, Penn. During his time at the university, he was a three-year varsity letter winner and state finalist for the KU Men’s Tennis Team.
Aside from working during the day, Knight is a law student in the evening division at the University of Denver, School of Law and he is also a member of the DU Sports and Entertainment Law Society. Knight will earn his law degree this May.
He and his wife, Carrie, were married in May 2004 and reside in Denver.
