Greg Hempfling Biography :

Greg Hempfling is senior vice president of Curtiss-Wright Flow Control Corporation and general manager of Electro-Mechanical Systems Division, the largest division of Curtiss-Wright Flow Control, and a world leader in delivering advanced electro-mechanical solutions to the U.S. Navy as well as the commercial nuclear power, oil and gas process and industrial marketsHempfling has more than two decades of experience leading a variety of key projects for the Navy. In 1984, he joined Newport News Shipbuilding as an engineer in the Submarine Overhaul Program, and held positions of increasing importance and responsibility in Submarine Overhaul and Seawolf Piping Engineering. In 1996, Greg was appointed Branch Manager for the New Attack Submarine Program (now Virginia) and was the deputy program manager for the SSN23 special mod program. He served as senior program manager in Space & Marine Systems at Allied-Signal Aerospace before joining Raytheon Aircraft Integration Systems in 2000 as a supply chain director. He was later appointed program director for the U.S. Army’s Aerial Common Sensor program. Hempfling then went on to serve as general manager of Electric Pump Division (EPD), based in Phillipsburg, NJ, which was acquired by Curtiss-Wright Flow Control in November 2004. Most recently, Hempfling served as vice president and general manager of the Electro-Mechanical Division (EMD) based in Cheswick, PA., in addition to managing EPD and the Advanced Products & Systems Division (APSD).He received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in 1983 and his Masters in Engineering Management from the George Washington University in 1991.
