As vice president - Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia within Worldspan' Worldwide Travel Distribution group, Graham Nichols is responsible for all aspects of sales, marketing, operations and customer service for Worldspan travel agency, e-commerce and corporate customers outside the Americas. He is also responsible for maintaining and building Worldspan' business relationships in the global regions. Nichols joined Worldspan in November 2001 from Amadeus, where he served as managing director - UK and Ireland for nearly four years. In that role he had complete responsibility for all Amadeus activities in the region, including sales, marketing, product delivery, finance, customer service and human resources. Prior to this, Nichols worked for Exxon Corporation as manager - International Aviation and Marine, with full profit and loss accountability for the company' aviation and marine fuels sales and operations. He had previously held a variety of positions within Exxon, including information technology management, operations, marketing and corporate planning. A native of Leatherhead, England, and a former England international hockey player, Nichols holds a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors in Mathematics from Southampton University. Today he resides in Fetcham, Surrey, with his wife, Joanne, and their children, Peter and Natasha. |
