Grace C. Wung is an associate in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Firm's Boston office. She is a member of the Firm’s Energy and Derivatives Markets practice group where her practice focuses on regulatory proceedings, transactional issues, negotiations and governmental affairs and agency litigation. She also advises on energy and energy-related transactions.
Grace has counseled clients on Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) mandates and regulatory policy regarding energy market matters in RTOs and prepared relevant regulatory filings. She has reviewed and negotiated agreements related to interconnection service, transmission to transmission interconnection service, facilities construction and other matters related to the sale or disposition of FERC jurisdictional facilities.
Prior to joining private practice, Grace was a law clerk and attorney advisor at FERC. While at FERC, she assisted in the conduct of hearings and settlement conferences and researched, analyzed and drafted material for Administrative Law Judges. Grace received an award of recognition from the Commission for assistance provided to the Settlement Judge in Public Utilities Providing Service in California Under Sellers’ Choice Contracts.
Grace is a member of the Energy Bar Association and is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, Maryland and the District of Columbia.
