Gordon Hutchinson was named Vice President and Controller of Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, Inc. (AAWW) in April of 2005. He also serves as Vice President and Controller of the Company’s operating subsidiaries, Atlas Air, Inc. and Polar Air Cargo, Inc.
Prior to joining AAWW, Mr. Hutchinson was Corporate Controller of Amtrak, a multi-billion-dollar transportation and engineering construction company. Previously, he was Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary of MHI Communications, a full-service advertising and communications agency.
A certified public accountant with diverse corporate and public-accounting-firm experience, Mr. Hutchinson has also held several other senior management positions, including: Vice President of Finance, Teligent, Inc.; Assistant Corporate Controller, LaFarge Corporation; and Director of Finance and Administration, Agrium, Inc. He began his career as an accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Mr. Hutchinson holds a bachelor of commerce degree from the University of British Columbia and studied executive management at the Richard Ivey School of Business of the University of Western Ontario. |
