Mr. Eng is a member of the firm's transactional department and specializes in real estate and business law. In the business area, he has advised on the formation and management of domestic and international joint ventures; advised on a broad range of corporate operations and management agreements including employment, distribution, licensing and sales agreements; represented buyers, sellers, investors and lenders in corporate acquisitions, mergers and restructurings. In the real estate area, he has represented buyers, sellers and lenders in a broad range of asset type purchases including residential, retail, hospitality and warehouse products; represented developers in construction projects; represented landlords and tenants of commercial and retail properties; and represented brokerage firms in real estate transactions. In the financing area, he has represented private conduit financing lenders in loans for hotel and office properties; assisted a major financial institution in preparation of standardized California commercial loan documentation; represented Habitat for Humanity in documentation of loans for home buyers and subsequent sale/assignment of loans into private placement transactions; and represented borrowers in a broad range of acquisition and refinancing transactions. |
