Dr. Brandt joined the Company in November of 2002. In his position of Executive Vice President Clinical Research and Medical Affairs, he oversees the drug development process from preclinical through clinical testing. From 1997 to 2002, Dr. Brandt worked at Sonus Pharmaceuticals, Inc., where he held the positions of Vice President, Clinical and Regulatory Affairs, and Director of Medical Affairs. At Sonus, Dr. Brandt was involved in managing all aspects of design and implementation of early and late stage clinical trial programs and submissions to regulatory authorities. Dr. Brandt graduated from Yale University with a B.S. degree in Engineering Science, received an M.D. from the University of California, San Francisco, and completed a residency in internal medicine at Kaiser Hospital, San Francisco. Dr. Brandt is the author of numerous scientific papers and abstracts, and holds one U.S. patent. |
