Surviving 750 yoga classes in 100-degree heat is not for the meek, but that's not a word anyone would use to describe Glenna. Not someone who has also traveled over 8,000 miles on a motorcycle. Not someone who performed with the Lyric Opera of Chicago. But it's an adventurous spirit like that that made Glenna the ideal person to further imc˛'s reputation as the best place on Earth to work! Okay, that claim is a bit overstated, but perhaps it won't be after a few years under Glenna's leadership as Vice President, People. With 25 years of experience in Human Resources, she knows what it takes to attract, cultivate and maintain awesome people. Glenna will be the first to admit she has the energy of ten people, which comes in handy as she introduces a learning culture, benefits and wellness programs, and performance management systems for our quickly growing agency. On top of that, she is in charge of instituting innovative recruiting, benefits, rewards and recognition programs, all while keeping her focus on the company vision and culture that has already been established. Before joining imc˛, Glenna was a leader in the Human Resources and training efforts for a number of companies, including Starbucks, eatZi's, Macaroni Grill and Marshall Field's. Additionally, she founded Humanistic Technologies, Inc., a human resource consulting firm that provided "Rent a VP HR" services for small to FORTUNE 500 companies including Accenture, Spherion and Ketchum Public Relations. Glenna earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a minor in Opera from Indiana University. Try finding someone else with those credentials. |
