I started my career with International Harvester Company and graduated with a BS degree in Business Administration from Illinois State University in Normal, IL. in 1973. Considering the path that I have taken, most of you might realize that I have held various positions and worked for a variety of owners which included, heavy duty machine manufacturers, at one time a large conglomerate, a major lube company, a British Investment Banking Group and most recently now an American Investment Banking Group. With all that activity, one thing has remained constant and that is, the dealers and CNH personnel that I have had the opportunity to build relationships with.
In 1990, I started with Viscosity Oil after working in various areas of Sales, Marketing, and Retail Operations for the Case, Case IH and IH organizations. I am currently responsible and involved with supplying a consistent level of service to all Viscosity Oil's plant business. The main responsibility I have, is to assist in the process of maintaining a consistent flow of product to these locations. A trick in itself... I have been told that I like to wear a "belt and suspenders" I guess I have a reputation of being a little conservative and also very cautious! I wonder why?
I also have responsibility for the Midwestern CNH dealer business and, for the past few years, I have been involved with our training efforts and inherited the title of "Meeting Planner" A position that gets you involved in let's say many abstract situations A position that has been more then a learning experience, more of an" I did not know I could do that experience" Life at Viscosity is always interesting and filled with new opportunities that you grow from.
My wife, Noreen and I have been married for 32 years and have one daughter and a son in- law who recently presented us with our first grandchildren. A set of twins. We also have a son who is a High School History Teacher and Coach. We are very proud of all of them. We currently live in the south suburb of Chicago, Tinley Park. Our children live relatively close to us and we have had the opportunity to watch them mature and start lives on their own... We tell everyone that they really do grow up and it is fun seeing them reach their own successes in their lives. We live a life that is full and ever changing.
