Nash serves as vice president, Supply Chain and Service for Sony Computer Entertainment America. Nash joined Sony Computer Entertainment America in 1996 and has been integral in overseeing the efficient delivery of PlayStation® brand products to consumers throughout North America, contributing to the company’s unparalleled sales success.
Nash is responsible for overseeing the company’s supply chain, thus ensuring the timely, efficient delivery of PlayStation® products from point of manufacture to Sony Computer Entertainment America’s retail customers. This key function includes production planning, import/export, inventory management, warehousing, and domestic distribution. Additionally, Nash oversees product service and hardware engineering functions that include consumer repair operations, returned goods processing, development tool service and hardware support.
Nash joined Sony Computer Entertainment America as national merchandising manager and was quickly promoted to the director level where he led 145 field-merchandising representatives that provided support to major retailers in North America. Following this role, Nash was appointed to the position of director, production planning & distribution where he streamlined Sony Computer Entertainment America’s supply chain for the launch of PlayStation®2.
Prior to joining Sony Computer Entertainment America, Nash specialized in providing merchandising services in retail accounts for consumer product companies while working with Marketing Force, a marketing services company. It was there that he gained experience in the videogame category while developing in-store service programs for leading entertainment companies. Nash also brings direct sales experience to his position at Sony Computer Entertainment America.
Nash obtained a bachelor of business administration degree from the University of Iowa. He holds professional memberships with APICS (Educational Society for Resource Management) and the Council of Logistics Management. |
