Glenn's oilfield career spans approximately more than 35 years, consisting of more than 26 years of field experience, 19 years of which were served internationally. He started as a floorman and worked his way through the ranks to operations manager. Glenn worked in both land and offshore projects on barge, platform and jackups in various locations around the world, including the Gulf of Mexico, South China Sea, Mediterranean Sea and Adriatic Sea. He is currently the Director of Training for Parker Drilling, responsible for developing, implementing and facilitating company wide training programs for operations management, rig supervisory and rig personnel. He has developed and implemented courses like Drill String Management, Mud Conditioning Equipment and the IADC accredited WellCAP course. Glenn is a certified Instructional Developer/Designer and certified to instruct to MMS, IADC and IWCF standards, and he holds an ASTD Training certification. |
