Mr. Hoormann is a Director of Business Development in Optimum’s Northeast Region. Glenn has over twenty-five years of experience helping organizations resolve challenges related to business intelligence and Enterprise resource planning. He has created and delivered successful business intelligence service offerings, including business intelligence strategy and education curriculum, for large user communities within Fortune 500 organizations. His experience also includes installation, implementation, education, project management, account management and Executive Steering Committee participation for large-scale implementations.
Over the course of his career Glenn has held IT, management, sales and executive positions with such firms as Hughes Aircraft, United Van Lines, Sigma Chemical, Tapestry Computing and Braun Consulting before founding Core Ops Inc, a consulting firm specializing in Oracle ERP systems and Business Intelligence. He has enjoyed successful relationships with clients such as Emerson Electric, Eaton, Motorola, AT&T, Ralston Purina, MCI Worldcom, Express Scripts, AMC Theatres and Brooks Telecommunications.
In addition to his for-profit business efforts, Mr. Hoormann performs extensive volunteer work in the user communities. He is the founder, group coordinator and Chairman of the Central States OAUG, the GEO group covering Missouri and Kansas. He also holds board and chair positions on the following Oracle and OAUG Committees.
