Previously, Mr.Schafer served as executive vice president and chief financial officer. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a Fellow of the Life Management Institute. Schafer serves on the board of directors of Scottish Re Group Limited and the Asset Management Finance (AMF) Corporation. He is also co-chair of and serves on the Michigan State University Foundation's board of directors. He also is a member of the advisory board of Orange County's Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA). |
