Glen Hamilton is an Internet retailing professional with ten years of online consumer merchandising, marketing and product development experience. Hamilton joined Mercent from Car Toys, Inc. where he served as Director of Ecommerce for three years. During his tenure at Car Toys, Hamilton increased the company’s ecommerce revenue growth by triple digit percentages each year, transforming an unprofitable business unit into a material profit center. At Car Toys, Hamilton managed the company’s partnerships with Amazon.com and other online merchandising channel providers. Prior to Car Toys, Hamilton was Vice President of Business and Product Development for Egghead.com. During his six year tenure at Egghead, he helped the software retailer transform from a 300 store ‘brick and mortar’ retailer to a pure-play online commerce and auction pioneer with more than $600 million in annual online sales. Egghead.com was acquired by Amazon.com in 2001. Hamilton has consulted for Internet retailing, publishing and marketing companies and applies a strong brand retailing focus to Mercent's strategy and software services platform.
