Gina R. Gencarelli joined Kenyon & Kenyon as a summer associate in 2004 and is currently working as an associate in the New York office. Her work at the firm is focused primarily on patent prosecution and litigation involving the chemical and pharmaceutical arts.
While pursuing her undergraduate degree at Lehigh University, Ms. Gencarelli performed research in the area of porphyrin chemistry. She also interned in National Starch and Chemical's corporate research department, where she worked on the development of novel polymers for use in the company's products. During her graduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Ms. Gencarelli conducted research on metallocene-catalyzed polymerization under the direction of Professor Charles P. Casey.
