Professor of Internal Medicine, Human Genetics & Public Health, and Director of the Center for Computational Medicine and Biology, University of Michigan, and Former CEO, University of Michigan Health System. Dr. Gilbert S. Omenn has served as a director of the Company since January 1987. Since September 1997, he has been Professor of Internal Medicine, Human Genetics and Public Health at the University of Michigan. From September 1997 to July 2002, Dr. Omenn also served as Executive Vice President for Medical Affairs and as Chief Executive Officer of the University of Michigan Health System. From July 1982 to September 1997, Dr. Omenn was the Dean of the School of Public Health and Community Medicine and Professor of Medicine at the University of Washington. Dr. Omenn is a director of Rohm & Haas Co. and OccuLogix, Inc.
