Gil Borok is Global Controller of CB Richard Ellis. In this position he has responsibility for global financial and accounting matters of the Company, including external (U.S. Securities Exchange Commission) reporting, internal (management) reporting, audit committee activities, the internal audit function, and the financial aspects of mergers, acquisitions and dispositions. Mr. Borok is a seasoned executive with a successful background in financial management within the manufacturing, distribution and real estate industries, including Big 4 public accounting experience. This background includes leadership in multidivisional, international operations with a solid knowledge of strategic planning, U.S. GAAP and SEC compliance, business development, profitability and cost improvement, acquisitions and dispositions. Professional Experience Prior to joining CB Richard Ellis, Mr. Borok held several positions with progressive responsibility at Dole Food Company, Inc., including Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer, Assistant Controller and Manager of Corporate Reporting. In these roles, Mr. Borok oversaw global financial and accounting matters, internal and external reporting, audit committee activities, and the financial aspects of mergers, acquisitions and dispositions. Mr. Borok began his career with Arthur Andersen where he moved from Staff Auditor to Manager in the Commercial Audit Division in Los Angeles. |
