Gidon Cohen is President and Chief Executive Officer of Highland Capital LLC, a private equity and financial advisory company he founded in 1998. Before starting Highland, Gidon had been an investment banker for 19 years. He was a Senior Managing Director of BA Partners (a group he co-founded) and has served in the same position at BancAmerica Securities, BancAmerica Robertson Stephens and NationsBanc Montgomery Securities. Additionally, he held the posts of Corporate Finance Associate Director and Corporate Finance Vice President, respectively, at Bear, Stearns & Co. and Smith Barney, Harris Upham. Gidon holds a Master's of Management from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. |
