As vice president, Gib oversees office leasing for Tower Properties' 1,600,000 square feet of office buildings, manages over 4,000 parking spaces and pursues acquisitions and development projects for the company. Prior to joining Tower Properties in 1997, Gib worked both as a commercial real estate broker and as an asset manager, in the latter capacity overseeing a national portfolio of commercial properties valued in excess of $100 million.
Gib currently serves as president of the Commercial Division of the Kansas City Board of REALTORS where he has worked to obtain regulatory relief for the real estate industry and enhance information technology among commercial real estate professionals. Gib also serves on the Kansas City, Missouri Parking Authority as a mayoral appointee.
Gib's civic involvement includes leadership positions in the following organizations: Children's Therapeutic Learning Center, Groundhog Run, University Club, Federalist Society, St. Andrew's Episcopal Church and Washington & Lee alumni chapter. Gib received his bachelors' degree from Washington & Lee University and his MBA from the University of Virginia. |
