Gianni Onorato has served president of Costa Crociere SpA, since April 2004, and during his tenure has further streamlined the company’s core cruise business and has introduced many product innovations.
Onorato began his Costa career in 1986 in the company’s hotel activity sector before becoming cruise product director. In 1998 he was appointed vice president cruise operations director and was responsible for logistics and provisioning as well as all activities relating to calls, excursions, and hotel operations.
He graduated from the Istituto Orientale of Naples with a degree in foreign languages and literatures in 1983, and specialized at SDA Bocconi in Milan and INSEAD in Fontainebleau. |
